Update, 1/29: Pretty much all settled; a few of the older posts are still referencing images on the old host, but that can be done later.

Almost a month into the new year now, I figured it would be time to elevate things; I’ve purchased a domain, and will be moving to my own space soon. Hopefully the transition will be handled smoothly within a week.

Granted, Niels has been an excellent host; I have no doubts that I’ve used this hosting much more than he has. I’m not even sure when the last time he visited my site (or his own) was.

As most of you know, I fervently advertise my site primarily by putting it up in my away message whenever a new post is put up, usually followed by a short description. I am confident that my comment of “Alison’s first post!” was the cause for the record number of hits in one day. Speaking of hits, we’ve surpassed 1000! And yes, I have my counter to ignore my own visits.
