Last EMT Related Post, I Promise

I was studying for the EMT certification with practice tests online, and I couldn’t help but share this gem:

10. After the baby has crowned during delivery you should?
 
Suction the mouth and nose then check for prolapsed cord
Suction the mouth and nose and wait for the mother to push the rest of the baby out
Support the head and gently pull the baby out
Put the mother on high flow O2 and have a cigar with the father

Oh yes.

A few realizations:

Graduation is in exactly one month.

I haven’t had a free Saturday this entire year, and will not have one until the 26th. Between me and a night of sake bombs lay approximately 25 pages of biological research papers and a State licensing exam.
